Clinic Nurse
Aid patients from the moment they enter the clinic by collecting patient information, supporting patient evaluation, administering treatments and medications as needed, and educating patients
Usual clinic nursing duties including
- Assisting doctor during procedures
- Provide basic patient care or treatments, take , measure and record patients’ vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration., dressing wounds, treating bedsores, giving enemas or douches, rubbing with alcohol, massaging, or performing catheterizations
- Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures
- Collect samples, such as blood, urine, or sputum from patients, and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
Office work-as necessary General reception/ office work including :
- Telephone answering, retrieving patient’s messages, organizing supplies, scanning,maintaing patient records.
- Make appointments, keep records, or perform other clerical duties in doctor’s office or clinic
- Documenting/Recording Information – Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form, answering phone queries, ordering stocks, dispensing medicines prescribed by the doctors. Keep CONFIDENTIALITY of records.
Communicate lab and X-ray results and other clinical matters to patients on the phone or in the clinic as per the protocol agreed with doctors.
